Fractal Followup: Bible-Thumpers Arrested At Gay Festival For Trespassing
June 28, 2009 by Brandon | Leave a Comment
Get it? Fractal Followup? Sort of like the Factor Followup? No? Eh, I find it amusing.
Anyway, in today’s Fractal Followup, we return to Minneapolis where there was a planned gay festival. At said festival, a family of evangelical Christians had a habit of passing out bibles to the masses of homosexual sinners every year. Having had enough of being told they’re going to burn in hell, I assume, they decided to rent out an entire park, giving them rights to allow whoever they wanted in.
Guess who wasn’t included?
Guess who decided to ignore this and went to pass out bibles anyway?
Guess who had their bible-thumping asses arrested for trespassing?

Prejean Dethroned
June 10, 2009 by Brandon | 6 Comments
It’s claimed that Prejean hasn’t been living up to her duties as her contract requires, such as missing events.
“This was a decision based solely on contract violations, including Ms. Prejean’s unwillingness to make appearances on behalf of the Miss California USA organization,” state pageant Executive Director Keith Lewis said.
Trump supported and was part of the decision, which is amusing since he seemed to be a staunch supporter of Prejean before, even though she had breached her contract at that point on several occasions.
Either way, she lost that so-called honor. Good. Now she can continue her little holy war against gay marriage.

Your Average Christians’ Responses
May 31, 2009 by Brandon | 8 Comments
You might have noticed some comments to a year old article I wrote regarding 666 and Christian ignorance.
Just in case there was any question whatsoever over Christian ignorance and hypocrisy, look no further.
I do not know what is more sick, the fact that Dr. George Tiller was gunned down in his church, or that there are people out there, your average Christians, who are doing nothing less than celebrating it. They are saying he got what he deserved. They are saying that any church he attended must be a church of satanists, extending their viciousness to people they don’t even know, making them guilty by association.
Here are some gems:
Why is the death of a satanic worshipper tragic?

“His sister is a friend of mine. This is tragic.“
The real tragedy is the number lives he has taken. Not to mention the women who have had to live with what they have done to their babies.

Mom And Chemo Boy Running To Mexico
May 21, 2009 by Brandon | 5 Comments
There’s been some news regarding a recent story I posted concerning a 13 year old boy whose parents were refusing to treat his extremely treatable Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. The mother and the boy failed to appear for a court hearing on Tuesday, resulting in the judge issuing a warrant for the mother’s arrest. It would seem the mother is on the run with the kid, heading toward Mexico, the authorities say.
The father claims to have no knowledge of this, and hasn’t been in contact with his wife since her disappearance with their son.
I think the woman has just graduated from being crazy to being batshit crazy. The child’s best interests being at stake, the court stepped in to make sure he received the proper medical treatment that his parents were denying him in favor of “natural” treatments by a witch doctor. But despite that insanity, the court wasn’t going to take the kid from the parents’ custody. Now, however, I don’t think that this kid is going to be staying with mommy after they are found.
Good.

Fox News to Create Carrie the Pageanteer
May 14, 2009 by Brandon | 1 Comment
They did it with Joe the Plumber, and now they’re doing it with Carrie Prejean, Miss California.
In order to create a more perfect troglodyte, Fox News is putting Carrie Prejean on Fox & Friends on May 27th as a guest host. She is anti-gay marriage and hot. The perfect spokes-model.
Of course, it’s really no surprise that Fox News would latch on to the Left’s Media Anti-Darling. If anyone thinks for a second that Fox News is anything but an agenda-driven, propaganda spewing machine for the Right, they’re sadly deluded.
But this is what the Republican Party has come to as of late, and they show no sign of giving it up. They just press on with the determination of the Little Engine That Could, except they can’t, and it’s driving away scores of moderate Republicans. All they seem to care about is their hot-button morality issues which come from one of the most immoral books I can think of. Instead of trying to find intelligent people who have something to contribute to our society, they find a fake blonde bimbo who basically wants to legislate who you can and can’t love because she’s uncomfortable with that idea.

What is Fractal Wrongness?
The state of being wrong at every conceivable scale of resolution. That is, from a distance, a fractally wrong person's worldview is incorrect; and furthermore, if you zoom in on any small part of that person's worldview, that part is just as wrong as the whole worldview.
